Pet Peeves' 2006 Critter Calendar Unveiled!

Proceeds to benefit LI's most needy animals
 

Woodbury, NY-November 10, 2006- Pet Peeves' Inc. "The Voice of Long Island Pets" is proud to announce the release of its 2006 Critter Calendar.  The beautiful color glossy pet calendar was formally unveiled at the "Furry Tails Can Come True" gala held at the Crest Hollow Country Club in September.  

Now on sale, the calendar features photos submitted by Long Island pet owners and is a visual delight.  Each month features a beloved "pet of the Month," selected from among more than 100 entries, by a panel of prestigious professional photographers. The calendars are just $10 each and are available for purchase through the Pet Peeves website at www.petpeevesinc.org .

The proceeds from the calendar sales will enable Pet Peeves to provide grants and further its work in support of long island's abandoned, neglected and unwanted pets.  

Critter Calendar sales proceeds have contributed to the success of Pet Peeves' fund-raising efforts to date. "In our mere three years of operation, we are proud to state that we have distributed nearly $100,000 in grants to Long Island's animal rescue groups and no-kill shelters, enabling these volunteers to rescue, care for, spay and find permanent loving homes for these desperate and deserving animals," said Pet Peeves founder Janine Dion.

Pet Peeves, Inc. is a non-profit umbrella organization that raises funds in support of rescue groups, no kill shelters and humane education and pet therapy initiatives.  Its board is completely volunteer driven allowing nearly all funds raised to directly support its stated mission.
