Letter
from the President
It was only a few short years ago that
I found myself frustrated and torn, between my passion for helping
the less fortunate and a personal schedule that seemed unyielding.
My vision and mission in life, was to impact the lives of homeless
animals, senior citizens and sick children, seemingly daunting
tasks. It was only when I realized that hundreds of compassionate
Long Islanders, were equally concerned about these three voiceless
populations, that I founded Pet Peeves, Inc., “the voice
of Long Island pets.” I knew in my heart that if I joined
forces with other like-minded individuals and corporations,
that we could make a difference in the lives of these most vulnerable
members of our society.
As you’ll
read in our mission statement, Pet Peeves serves as an umbrella
organization supporting the animal shelters, pet rescue groups,
humane education programs and pet therapy programs.
Our needs are simple. We need your
support. Whether you choose to make a financial contribution
, join a committee, donate your goods or services, remember
us in your will, or recommend us to a friend you are making
a difference.
Thank you for visiting--please take the
time to get to know us. The needy animals of Long Island are
forever grateful for your support and so am I.
With Gratitude,

Janine Dion
